This Privacy Policy explains how Memo collects, uses, stores, and protects user data. The App is provided by Petit Works ("we", "us", or "our").

2. About the App

Memo is a productivity app that allows users to:

create and manage personal memos such as birthdays and events;
view their content inside the App;
receive local daily notifications;
optionally enable backup and restore features through Google Calendar.

3. Data We May Process

Depending on how the App is used, we may process the following categories of data.

3.1 User-Provided Content

Users may manually enter data into the App, including:

memo or event titles;
reminder dates;
event times;
content type, for example birthday, event, or memo;
preferences associated with a memo.

This information is provided directly by the user and is used to operate the App's core features.

3.2 Calendar Data

If the user enables the backup or synchronization feature, the App may access the device calendar and read or write events using calendar permissions such as:

WRITE_CALENDAR

Calendar access is used only to:

export memos/events from the App to the calendar;
import or restore memos/events from the calendar, where applicable;
keep selected user data synchronized.

Access to calendar data is optional and depends on permissions granted by the user.

3.3 Notification Data

The App may request permission to send notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) in order to display local reminders to the user.

Notification permission is optional. If denied, the App can still be used, but local reminders may not be delivered.

3.4 Technical and Diagnostic Data

The App may use third-party services, including Google and Firebase services, which may collect technical and diagnostic information such as:

device information;
device identifiers or other identifiers;
information about interactions with the App;
crash reports and error diagnostics;
technical information necessary to provide advertising services.

This information may be collected automatically through integrated SDKs.

3.5 Advertising Data

The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob. In connection with ad delivery, Google and its partners may process certain information, such as:

device identifiers or advertising identifiers;

If the user enables backup or synchronization, selected App data may be written to the device calendar and, depending on the user's account configuration, may also be synchronized through the calendar service associated with that account, for example Google Calendar.

Some technical, diagnostic, or advertising-related data may be processed by third-party providers such as Google, Firebase, and AdMob in accordance with their own privacy policies.

7. Permissions Used by the App

The App may request the following permissions:

7.1 Internet Access

Used to:

load advertisements;
interact with integrated third-party services;
support synchronization-related features where applicable.

7.2 Network State Access

Used to:

detect connectivity;
manage features that require network access.

7.3 Calendar Read and Write Permissions

Used to:

export memos or events to the calendar;
import or restore events from the calendar;

create, edit, or delete memos stored in the App;
deny or revoke calendar permissions through device settings;
deny or revoke notification permission through device settings;
disable backup or synchronization features, where available;
clear App data through device settings;
uninstall the App.
